Non-thesis option: No less than 36 semester hrs of graduate credit is needed. Any credits earned in PHY 700 might not be counted toward the the least 36 hrs.&#160 Completion with a minimum of four 600-level courses in physics apart from PHY 610 is needed. A student should also pass an extensive examination for that non-thesis option.
