In 2015 he defended his PhD with distinction on contributions of Vertical Farms to improve the general energy-efficiency of metropolitan areas. He studied Architecture in the College of Applied arts and Academy of proper Arts in addition to in the College of Technology in Innsbruck, Vienna and Graz.
