Information session

The College of Psychology invites all 3rd year students within the Honours Psychology program thinking about the Honours Thesis (PSY4276/4676) for that 2016-2017 academic year to go to an information session (in British) that is held on Friday Feb twelfth at 2:30PM in FSS1007.

Eligibility criteria

Honours B.A. with specialization in Psychology

1. Completing the courses PSY2106/2506, PSY2116/2516 and PSY2174/2574
2. Completing the program PSY3307/3707 (Note: this program might be taken concurrently using the Thesis). (It’s suggested to join up to PSY4130 in fourth year)
3. Sign up for fourth year from the Honours B.A. with specialization in Psychology.
4. Possess a Cumulative Gpa (CGPA) with a minimum of 7.8.*

* The Thesis might be substituted with 6 optional PSY credits in the 4000-level.

Honours B.Sc. with Specialization in Psychology

• Completing the courses PSY2106/2506, PSY2116/2516, PSY2174/2574
• Completing the program PSY3307/3707 (Note: this program might be taken concurrently using the Thesis).
• Completing all first and second year science courses.
• Enrolment in fourth year from the Honours B.Sc. with Specialization in Psychology.
• This program is compulsory to students registered within the Honours BSc with specialization in Psychology who’ll register in fourth year.

Registration procedure

• Registration isn’t accessible through the Registration online tool, Rabaska. Students must register personally in the Undergraduate Studies Office from the Faculty of Social Sciences found in the Faculty of Social Sciences Building (FSS), room 3010, or by fax: 613-562-5311.
• Please complete the registration form and give it back personally or by or fax towards the Undergraduate Secretariat from the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Finding an Honours Thesis supervisor

Finding an Honours Thesis supervisor ought to be done only if all eligibility criteria are satisfied. Registration for that Honours Thesis might be completed with the school of Social Sciences, Undergraduate Studies Office (Faculty of Social Sciences Building, Room 3010) – Fax. 613-562-5311.
