Worldwide famous for the creative and innovative method of teaching and research, at Goldsmiths we provide undergraduate, postgraduate, teacher training and return-to-study possibilities in subjects since the arts, social sciences, humanities and computing.

We’ve been area of the College based in london for more than a century, and therefore are rated ninth within the United kingdom for world-leading 4* research (Research Assessment Exercise 2008). Our academic excellence is highlighted within our membership from the 1994 Group, that can bring together a select quantity of research-focused universities.

Our unique academic approach originates from the interaction of 15 academic departments, plus a quantity of smaller sized centres and units. We’re dedicated to avant-garde, radical thinking, which creates an atmosphere that encourages freedom of thought and expression.

A number of our former students have grown to be leaders and innovators within their selected fields – they include Antony Gormley, Mary Quant, Damien Hirst, Bridget Riley, Mike Taylor-Wood, Graham Coxon and Malcolm McLaren.
