Now Printed! Guidance Briefs: Preserving and Curating ETD Research Data and sophisticated Digital Objects

The ETDplus project (https://educopia.org/research/grants/etdplus ) has printed some six Guidance Briefs concerning the curation and upkeep of ETD research data and sophisticated digital objects.

These open documents will be ready to be adopted and adapted for local use by universities/colleges to assist students learn how to prepare, manage, and keep research files connected using their ETDs.

The Guidance Briefs are short (3-4 page) “how-to” oriented briefs made to help ETD programs build and nurture supportive relationships with student researchers. These briefs are written for students audience. They are made to assist student researchers to understand how their methods to data and cms impact credibility, replicable research, and general lengthy-term ease of access: understanding and skills which will impact the healthiness of their careers for many years.

Additionally to supplying actionable, easy-to-follow advice on how to organize, store, and safeguard their research files, these Guidance Briefs help students learn how their very own cms practices will change up the credibility, replicability, and lengthy-term ease of access of the findings.
