Application Materials for Columbia Students (All documents should be in British)

  • Resume (2 pages maximum)
  • Statement (500 words maximum) explaining the way the program will advance the student’s research and career goals. Students also needs to indicate potential thesis advisors.
  • Copy of transcripts of publish-secondary education
  • One letter of recommendation from the Columbia professor (to become sent directly by email towards the Graduate Program Coordinator)
  • Shown language proficiency. Columbia students must demonstrate proficiency in French. To do this, they have to pass the DALF (C1 level). For info on the DALF exam, such as the exam schedule, check out Alliance Française. Observe that the DALF exam is generally offered only a couple of times annually, so please plan in advance.
