Because the birthplace of contemporary discomfort medicine, UW Discomfort faculty function as key leaders in multiple discomfort societies, editorial boards, and condition, regional, national and worldwide initiatives.

At all these facilities, an inter-professional group of specialists provides comprehensive discomfort management services with a focus on:

Prevention concentrates on patient education and evaluating the chance of developing chronic discomfort after injuries, surgery, trauma, or perhaps a disease
Precision diagnosis of possible reasons for discomfort by hearing the individual’s story and taking advantage of target-specific treatments while identifying obstacles to recovery.
