Abstract This thesis compares two translations completed in the play printed by dramaturge Michel Tremblay titled, Albertine en cinq temps. Having A. Berman’s critique of translation and areas of linguistic analysis, the important thing factor characterizing areas of Tremblay’s plays are identified then utilized as basics for analyzing the 2 existing translations in the work. In conclusion my thesis, I’ve help with my very own, personal translation in the play.
