The UCLA Hammer Museum will host Filmforum’s fall number of film and video screenings Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. Hammer galleries are open until 7 p.m. so visitors can easily see the Museum’s exhibitions prior to the screenings. There won’t be any screenings October 31 and November 28.

Filmforum, a nonprofit organization founded in 1975, is Los Angeles’ only true presenter of subterranean and avant-garde film and video. Filmforum is devoted to showcasing work by new and emerging artists who’re redefining film and video as artistic representations. Filmforum also presents important historic works to supply a context with this redefinition.

Location/Parking: The Museum is situated at 10899 Wilshire Blvd. Parking can be obtained underneath the Museum.
